St. Pat's Parade Awaits Entries
Mary Jo Coulehan | 3/3/10
Back to the News Summaries
The luck of the Irish will hit Pagosa Springs as we celebrate in true parade fashion on March 17 — if the community steps up with enough parade entries to justify the effort.

The parade will only happen if we have 25 floats, so it is important to get your entries into the Pagosa Springs Chamber by Monday, March 15.

If there are not 25 entries, we will not be able to have a parade.

The parade is moved back in time slightly to accommodate the children getting out of school and participating in the parade and also to accommodate some of our spring break visitors coming off the mountain.

Parade line-up and registration will begin on 6th St. at 3:45pm.  The parade will begin at 4:30pm.  Registration forms can be faxed to you or you can pick them up at the chamber.  There will be prizes for the best overall float, the greenest entry, and the most bizarre entry.

Remember:  25 floats.  Last year we had 29 floats – so let’s make it another great, green celebration again this year.
